David Sancious · Confronting Creativity w/André Cholmondeley
David Sancious grew up in NJ, studying classical piano and soon picking up guitar. He played both instruments in jazz , R&B , and rock bands on the Jersey shore, soon becoming part of the original "Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band”. David recorded the first three E Street albums and toured the USA.
In 1974 David formed his group "Tone" and recorded several albums that remain influential and beloved by fusion, jazz/rock, funk and progressive music fans.
Sancious is considered one of the most talented and sought after musicians of our time. A synthesist, guitarist, arranger, and producer, he’s been touring and recording since the 70s with a diverse array of artists including Peter Gabriel, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Seal.
