Steven Wilson’s Gentle Giant “Free Hand” Remix

CORRECTION: Civilian is NOT being remixed/remastered by Steven Wilson. The album is being remastered (I don't know by whom) and released in the US in 2021.

We’re incredibly proud to feature this interview with Derek Shulman, Ray Shulman, John “Pugwash” Weathers, and Gentle Giant mega-fan Mike Keneally.

Steven Wilson’s remix of “Free Hand” is fantastic. It’s a huge improvement over the previous releases. The remix offers a clarity and an energy that I’ve never detected before. Mike and I rave about it in the video.

Even Derek Shulman says he thinks it sounds better than the original.
