A few years ago when I started listening to Nik Baertsch, I thought I’d never have the chance to see him perform live. And then the unexpected happened: my generous friend Ken Coffman sponsored not only a solo piano concert, but just a few months later he sponsored Nik and his entire zen funk band, RONIN, to perform in Apache Junction, AZ on March 21, 2019.

I covered Robert Fripp's “Erudite Eyes” in 2011, posted it to YouTube, and forgot about it. Six years later, I stumbled upon it again and found that I really liked what I did. So, in a fit of creativity and motivation, I recorded this video to go along with the song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Dethklok) was kind enough to grace MWM headquarters in Mesa, AZ on November 12, 2016 with a house concert. He did several songs with the incredible Andy West (Dixie Dregs, Crazy Backwards Alphabet). Here's a song from the 1995 album they released together as The Mistakes. This is a pretty rare thing to see.

Here is Mike playing one of my favorite of his songs in my dining room. He performed a house concert with Andy West the night before and we spent a little time the next day recording some other stuff, including this video. He's never played this song live, so I consider this pretty special.
